On Friday, November 8th, Bethlehem Police and the FBI arrested a man who admitted to having made anonymous threats through email against this parish. The suspect was arraigned on criminal charges and released on bail, pending a hearing. He was ordered to stay away from Holy Infancy and its parishioners while this case is under investigation.
I am telling you this because you have a right to know that a person made these threats and is being dealt with by the criminal justice system but is not behind bars.
I know this is a difficult situation and may be unsettling. That is why we have taken measures to provide security and I would ask everyone to be vigilant about any suspicious activity they may see here at Holy Infancy.
Please join me in praying for this man, for safety and also in praying that this situation is resolved successfully in the courts. Thank you.
