Deacon Arcadio has just been assigned to Holy Infancy Church after having served in Our Lady Help of Christian Church, Allentown. Due to recent priest changes at OLHC, the active ministry in Spanish at that Church has been transferred to the neighboring parishes. So we are blessed to have Deacon Arcadio become part of our parish family starting on August 25th, 2020.
Deacon Arcadio Leon was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. He was ordained a Permanent Deacon on September 24, 2005 for the Diocese of Puerto Plata, Dom. Rep. and served there faithfully in the Parish of Our Lady of Mercy. When he arrived in the United States, he started attending Mass at Our Lady Help of Christians, Allentown with his wife, Gianella and children, Gianny, Alfonso, and Emanuel. He was eventually assigned as a Deacon to OLHC by Bishop Schlert. Deacon Arcadio works full time at Trinity Glass Door Factory, in Brieningsville, PA.
