731 On the day of Pentecost when the seven weeks of Easter had come to an end, Christ’s Passover is fulfilled in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, manifested, given, and communicated as a divine person: of his fullness, Christ, the Lord, pours out the Spirit in abundance. 732 On that day, the Holy Trinity is fully revealed. Since that day, the Kingdom announced by Christ has been open to those who believe in him: in the humility of the flesh and in faith, they already share in the communion of the Holy Trinity. By his coming, which never ceases, the Holy Spirit causes the world to enter into the “last days,” the time of the Church, the Kingdom already inherited though not yet consummated. [244, 672]
Sabbatical for Fr. Andy begins after the Masses on May 30th
I will miss you all during the next three months, but I trust that this time of continued formation I will receive is going to help me to come back with renewed enthusiasm to serve you as your pastor here at Holy Infancy. I want to thank Fr. Mathur, our Deacons and Staff ahead of time for their support, knowing that you will be in good hands during these three months. Although things will necessarily be different, all the main services of the parish should be covered. Please email or call the parish and our staff will direct you to help as best as possible over the summer months. These months will go by quickly as usual but let’s pray for each other so that we all grow in the Holy Spirit’s power to do the Father’s will!
