New Daily Mass Schedule:

Just a reminder that our new weekday Mass Schedule (see inside the front page) will begin on Monday, September 10th.  The weekend Mass schedule will remain the same.

For those already scheduled intentions for Masses that will be canceled, we will either combine the Mass intentions to the one mass per day or we can give your money offering back to you and remove the intention.

The 2019 Mass book will open on October 1st with a first come, first serve basis.  Since we will have a reduced Mass schedule, there will be new limitations for obtaining Mass intentions for the year.

Confessions:

Since I will be the only priest hearing confessions on a regular basis, I will start Confessions on

Saturdays at 3:30 PM and have to finish by 5:00 PM so that I can prepare for the 5:15 PM Mass.

I will also hear confessions after the 7:00 PM Mass, or by appointment

Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament:

In reparation for the sins of abuse and lack of protection of children, I invite you to sacrifice some time praying before Jesus for healing between the hours of 7:00 AM, Friday, September 14th until 7:00 PM, Saturday,  September 15th.  Please sign up at the entrance of the Church or call the rectory so that we know that Our Lord will never be left unattended.

St. Michael the Archangel Prayer:

For more spiritual protection, starting the weekend of September 15-16, the entire diocese will start praying the St. Michael the Archangel Prayer at all Masses.  We will offer this prayer after the final blessing (and before the recessional song at all the daily and weekend Masses).  This will be the version of the prayer we will use.  Please try to memorize it and pray it with us.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle,

Be our protection against

the wickedness and snares of the Devil.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,

and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts,

by the power of God, cast into hell

Satan, and all the evil spirits

who prowl about the world

seeking the ruin of souls.  Amen.
