We are so glad you asked!! Our Parish Pastoral Council has been working on reviewing all the information of the synod. We feel we can benefit for the summary information to come up with areas of focus for our next three-year parish pastoral plan.

One comment in the raw data that stood out was “listening implies action from the church.” It is important that our fellow parishioners know we are listening and taking some action on their desires and concerns for our Parish. We will need everyone’s help to put things into action, but this is a good way to start the communication.
Again, I want to thank Sr. Luiza, Carmen Figueroa, and Jorge Rauen who were our Synod Ambassadors helping to organize the Listening Sessions and all the information for the Synod. I also thank Lidia Araujo, our Parish Pastoral Council Chairperson, and all our PPC Members for their work discussing and praying over the information.

First Holy Communion
During this Year of the Real Presence, please pray for our children who will receive their First Holy Communion next Saturday! This is such a sacred time in the lives of our children. We pray they will remember this first encounter of our Eucharistic Lord with great joy and reverence! It is a good time to remind ourselves to strive to receive Our Lord Jesus worthily by making frequent confessions.
