Parish Religious Education Program

“Go therefore and

make DISCIPLES of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit”

Matthew 28:19

Sunday PREP

Our 1st to 6th grade disciples grow in their faith formation while being in our Sunday PREP program. As baptized Catholics, they undergo three years of preparation for First Communion and continue to learn the four pillars of our Catholic Faith –Creed, Sacraments, Morality, and Prayer.

Confirmation Program

After building a strong faith foundation in our Sunday PREP program, and having already received Baptism and First Communion, our Teen disciples continue their journey by intensifying their relationship with God through a two year (or more if needed) of preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Pre-Catechumen & Rite of Christian Initation for Children (RCIC)

Those who are 7 years old and above who have not received the Sacrament of Baptism, or Teens who are baptized but have not received their First Communion and Confirmation yet, complete their years of faith formation in our Pre-Catechumen / RCIC program. After years of intense preparation, our Catechumen and Candidates receive all their Sacraments of Initiation during Easter Vigil.

These weeks, we are learning about Prayer: The sign of the cross, Forms of prayer, connecting our brains and minds to prayer, The Lord’s Prayer, and Mass. To apply what we have learned, the Sunday PREP and PreCatechumen students will attend PREP Mass.

SAINTS THEME (October 18-November 15)
