Marriage is a sacred covenant, a visible sign of Christ’s faithful and enduring love for His Church. Through joys and trials, husband and wife are called to mirror God’s steadfast love, offering one another patience, forgiveness, sacrifice, and grace.
During this Diocesan Jubilee Year we want to highlight couples married by the Church and offer blessings at the end of Mass for those celebrating milestone anniversaries of 1–5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50-plus years of marriage.
Please email or call the rectory – or simply come to the Sacristy 15 minutes before Mass and let the Deacon know your names and which of the milestone anniversaries above you are celebrating.
Also in September, the Diocese has a special Mass at the Cathedral for couples celebrating these special anniversaries that you are invited to attend (date will be announce later on).
There will be one in Spanish as well in September 13th at St. Paul Church, Allentown at 3:00 PM). More information to come…
