Jesus has mentioned several times that he is the son of God. He prays to his father and never outright said he is God or pray to him before God. The Bible shows that while he is Divine he also shows humanity like sorrow and anguish. I grew up Catholic and believed him as the son of God, but why do so many see him as God?

The Old Testament describes that God is the God to the Israelites, (Abraham and his descents) and all the miracles and blessings in the Bible are based in Israel (Middle East area). This makes me wonder if there is more than one God for other groups of people from different parts of the world. Makes me think of the other forms of religions around the world, and how we have to be connected some way shape or form. Or Did the same God do the same as he did in Israel all around the world?

For many years, many people have understood that Saturday’s Vigil Mass is for those who work on Sundays or have small children. But now, many people say that Saturday’s Vigil Mass is valid for everyone, regardless of the reason. So, could you clarify whether it is a mortal sin or not to go to Saturday’s Vigil Mass without a compelling reason, like the ones I mentioned above, and is it simply because you don’t go on Sunday?

Why do some believers take the saying from the Eucharist literal this is my blood and body literally? The Bible does not state it’s a parable or a metaphor and that Jesus really offers his blood and body at the last supper. Why do we Catholics believe it not in a literal sense?
