The human family throughout the world cannot turn a blind eye to the suffering that so many are currently enduring. Pope Leo XIV has noted with great sorrow that “Gaza is starving”.
In response to the petition of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Bishop Schlert, on August 31st , we will be taking up a second collection for the Humanitarian Needs in Gaza. The funds realized in this collection will be forwarded to the Catholic Near East Association (CNEWA) and Catholic Relief Services (CRS) to support their continued work in Gaza and the surrounding areas.
